United States (US) International Trade in Goods and Services with Saudi Arabia

In 2017, the U.S. direct investment position in Saudi Arabia (outward) was $11.1 billion, an increase of 4.7% from 2016.

In 2016, Saudi Arabia-based majority-owned affiliates of U.S. Multinational Enterprises (MNEs) employed 22.70 thousand people, an increase of 8.1% from 2015; sales were $9.6 billion, down 13.7%. U.S.-based majority-owned affiliates of Saudi Arabian MNEs employed 10.6 thousand people in 2015, no change from the previous year; sales were $67.8 billion, down 3.1%.
