Office of Foreign Assets Control - Sanctions Programs and Information
The Office of Foreign Assets Control ("OFAC") of the US Department of the Treasury administers and enforces economic and trade sanctions based on US foreign policy and national security goals against targeted foreign countries and regimes, terrorists, international narcotics traffickers, those engaged in activities related to the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, and other threats to the national security, foreign policy or economy of the United States.

OFAC publishes lists of individuals and companies owned or controlled by, or acting for or on behalf of, targeted countries. It also lists individuals, groups, and entities, such as terrorists and narcotics traffickers designated under programs that are not country-specific.

Trump Foundation in 1987, when he was a New York City real estate businessman, with the stated mission of collecting and maintaining money exclusively for charitable, religious, scientific, literary or educational purposes, either directly or by donating to other organizations. How the Federal Government Creates and Manages Its Budget Every year, Congress begins work on a federal budget for the next fiscal year. The federal government’s fiscal year runs from October 1 of one calendar year through September 30 of the next. The work actually begins in the executive branch the year before the budget is to go into effect.
